Hi Lee!

Found one by Resicast, but not cheap (see link below)!

If I come across anything else, I'll give a yell.

Thanks Adrian,
Yes, saw that on the Resicast site and yes pretty expensive. I am still looking but have found that I might pick one up a bit cheaper from USA.

Hi Lee., try phoning some of the toy shops.. Ive seen them there brought out in toy soldier range ww11... figs are soft plastic but the Vickers is metal and is very well detailed.. BRITIANS... in the UK produce them. If you do find one let me know, as I will check shops here in Brisbane for you mate..

Sorry Dave it does not help as the MG in this kit is a Browning being US and not a Vickers being British

Hi Guy's
and thanks for all the feed back. Cliff I agree that the Browning is US but was wondering if it would seem to far fetched to consider that the Brits might have used them when the circumstances arised!
Whilst I assume the Lend Lease was primarily for capital equipment, could they have been used by the Brits even if it was on an unofficial basis?

sorry mate. Never seen a brit or commonwealth unit with them as Vickers were not in short supply and readily availiable. This does not mean that in the heat of battle if one were availiable it would not be used (as would enermy equipment as well) just highly unlikely.

cheers
Cliff
