Guys and gals,

Check this site out:

http://www.terragenesis.co.uk/

It's whooping filled with ideas and techiques on modeling wargaming terrain.

We can modify this for our use!

Now, if each person in the planet would save styrofoam packaging for our use....

Angela, that site is great I was wondering how big the sci-fi - wargaming genre is in general. There is a rather large strip mall where I live and one of the stores is for selling gaming stuff. The back of the store maybe 3/4 of the store overall, is plywood tables set up for gaming. I'm thinking now it must be popular enough to pay an expensive rent for the large store. I'll have to check the place out further and maybe build some stuff for them, the site you turned us on to is too cool, you could build anything out of everything and just let your imagination run wild.
One question tho how large are the scales, I think I read on the site something about 28k whatever that is? Thanks for the site. - Cheyenne

Hey, this site is great! Thanks Angela! Some of these ideas are perfect for my current project. I have the model almost done, but didn't really have any ideas for the base until now. Again, thanks!

Thanks for posting the site Angela

There are some really usefull tips here.
The amount of stuff which can be built by just using inexpensive cardboard or other household junk is incredible.

You're welcome everyone. Just glad to be of help.

Cheyenne, I am not sure of the scale. The #K you are talking about is Warhammer 40K, which is a name of a certain wargame. That is not a scale.

I think the sci-fi people would know about scales for these thingys.
