Hi guys

I'm working on a German Horch with a 20mm mounted on the back. I want to ad the extensions to the gun platform. The kind that some German halftracks, and AA gun platforms have I can scratch the frame but Need a fense like/ mesh material to go inside the frame. Anyone know where I can find something like this ?

Thanks in advance

How about a piece of door screen? The one that you can buy in the hardware?

Harry, check Micromark as they carry a wide selection of small scale screen that should work for your application. "Q"

This is what I use, not sure if the shape is right for your application.

I used it for the engine grill on my M3 in my gallery
I think it was about 12 bucks or so at Micheals

Hi all

Thanks folks for the fast replys.
Angela, The screen was my first thought too but it looks a little to thick.
Well gang it looks like I'm off to Wally World and maybe Michaels.
Mathew, I'll save MicroMark as a last bet. Those prices are a little on the high side. Thanks again everybody. Like aways, you guys are a big help.

Harry,

Head to Hobby Lobby or any fabric store and get "tulle."
It is the same stuff they use for wedding veils. Two yards of it will last you a lifetime and it is next to free.
I would offer to send you some for nothing (I have 3 yards hanging in the rafters over my bench) but the postage would cost me about what a yard of it would cost you.
That's what I use...

HTH,

Shaun

Thanks a lot, Slug for the info. I've been looking for a cheap mesh for a long time. Even a few days ago, I looked around Home Depot and Walmart forever and could not find anything like it. I'm definitely heading out to Michaels tomorrow!!
