Well I spent all week end working on it, as I am somewhat busy during the week baby-sitting my two grand-daughters and these two days are the only time I basically have to do some serious modeling, hopefully.
Soooooo, as I was finishing it up today, painting all of the little details of the tooling and such, I was getting ready to put my bottle of Polly S Grimy Black up and suddenly it slipped out of my hands, flipped up into the air and landed smack dab right on top of the model, upside-down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was speechless to say the least. I just sat there for a couple of seconds letting the paint run down the sides and over the front and the back of my nice Pz. Yellow paint job and out onto the bench area in general. Then, of course, the air turned somewhat 'blue' with a few choice wordings, not only about the paint bottle but mostly about myself! Ever have that feeling?
Oh well, there were some things on it that I had wanted to do a different way anyhow, so I guess I am going to be getting my chance by having to get another one. Ha!
Luckily since the kit itself was under $10 there wasn't any big finaicnal investment lost, but several hours of work both yesterday and today are down the drain. Such are the occasional downfalls of this particular hobby I suppose.
We SHALL persevere.
Take care, Sgirty
