Hi,

Does any one know of any SBSs for building or detailing driver's periscopes? Or have any advice? Right now I'm working on a kit with plastic wedges molded to the hull to represent periscopes, but I'd like a bit more detail then that... I'm not too sure if I want to detail what's on the kit, or chop off the periscopes and start from scratch. Thr details for the inteiror portions of the periscope arn't really needed (the half below the hull roof). What I would like to do is build perisopes that are hollow enough to give some depth to the detail, with a clear peice at the front.
They'd be for a Leopard C1 in 1/35, but I'm sure the tecnique could be borrowed from other projects...

Thanks,
Mike McGregor

Formations sells a periscope set for cheap. Here is the link to their homepage. You can check out all their goodies but if you want you can go to the periscope directly on Page5
