I have troubles with the site today. It's very slow (takes more than a minute to open a page) and sometime I get an error message saying there are too many (more than 150) users online???
This appears in a long error message in the 'homepage' on top, where normally "new Feautures" stand...

It is very slow for me too. It's hard to sneak a peak at Armorama during work when you have to wait for 2 minutes for each page to refresh. You gotta have another window ready to cover up Big A while it's loading slow

You aren't alone. I know that Jim has the site set up to notify him of problems. I'm confident that he is 'on the job' and checking it out. For the last 30 minutes of so it's been better.
Be patient and Jim will have it running smoothly again.

Actually 11kb is very small for a banner like that. Good job Paul!
Actually I won't be so cryptic I guess, I was hinting at a site change I made that should allow almost everyone to see some kind of performance boost on the site, fewer page hang-ups, etc.
On the flip-side we don't have internal page-view or monthly statistics tracking going on now. But it's a loss I am willing to live with.
Cheers,
Jim

Jim,
First; thanks for the compliment on the banner!
Second: the site is indeed faster than I ever have experienced (but than again I only joined up a few months ago...)
Actually, it's so fast I buckle up my seatbelt before I start Armorama!
