Well this week has been a bad one for me. I lost around 2 gallons of rtv and 1 gallon of resin, along with most of my modeling tools and models in a fire. Unfortunatly for me I dont have renters insurince so its a total loss for me. It will be to expencive for me to replace all the stuff I lost so I wont be able to model for some time.

rbeebe99, thank you very much for offering me some things to keep me going.....as far as models, i build 1:35 scale armor and figures, figures from WW2 and armor from WW2 to modern. As far as tools go I need sprue cutters, x-acto knife and #11 blades, an airbrush-I had an Aztek but anything would work for a while, brushes, plastic cement, decal paper, rustall, etc. For paint I need basic colors, primer, and thinner.
The worst thing I lost was I just got a mini milling machine that got damaged beond repair. Didnt even get to try to learn how to use it. Not expecting to get that replaced though.

If you can help with any of this PM me and I will send you my address.

Thanks,
Adam

Thanks for all the support guys, you are all the best and I didnt expect to have people send me supplies to help start me over in this great hobby.

SEDimmick,
The fire started by some kids playing with matches and paper in the ajoining apartment I live in. The complex lost one hole building to the fire. So now they have to renivate the building. It really shows that you need to keep matches away from kids reach.

Thanks again everyone I love you all, you are like family to me.

I'm not sure but with the fire being caused by someone else, in an another apartment, it seems as though their insurance would be responsible, sense they found out they was the cause.

Might be worth checking into, I know the law is different for different things.

Some kids around here got the idea they liked to play with matches, and burned down a garage, so they made the kids who set the fire, parents home insurance co. pay for the garage, plus horse trailer that was parked by it when it burned down, cause they caught them, other wise it would of been the owners insurance who had to pay.

You never know, but with that much money, I sure would investigate. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, I hope your able to get some relief.

Got you covered with X-axto knives and some blades, can also send a couple of figures your way. Don't have much in the way of WW2 armor but have a firned that restock a hobby shop with what he has, sure I can work out a deal with him . Let me know if there's anything else I might be able to send your way.

That only works if they had insurance. Otherwise you're trying to get blood from a stone (they just lost everything too).

Adam. Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I know it must be difficult. Just be glad that you were not hurt.

I happen to run an all Military hobbyshop, and specialize in 1/35th Armor, Figures, and Diorama.

Let me know what you could use, and I will send you a care package. We have good quality Hobby Tools and Paints as well.

Alot of the members on Armorama, are good customers of mine. They seem to like my shop, and are familiar with my eBay sales as well.

PM me your mailing addy, and what you may need, and I'll see what I can do to help out.

Armorama has always been there for me, so I'd be happy to help out a member faced with a setback such as this.

Cheers !!

Man, that's gotta hurt!
Did you ''only'' loose your modelling materials and stuff or did you loose everything in your home?
Did you find another home yet?

It's good to see so many "good neighbours" on this site. Hope you get settled again soon!

Keep your head up!

PAUL
