I need to find another brand of flex shaft rotary tool, it seems as though Dremel is no longer producing the #732 model anymore, cause all I can find is parts and accessories for them, but no tools.

They did have, at one place, a kit, that had all the parts that came in one kit to get you going, but they sold out a long time ago, but that kit came with the foot controller, and everything you needed, where as the #732 is just the motor, and shaft, I can't even remember the number now it has been so long, so I guess I haft to give up on Dremel.

They were my first choice, but if you can't find their product, you haft to go with their competitor.
If anybody knows of another good brand that is around the $225.00 range, cause I think that used to be what the Dremel with everything used to cost, including the foot speed controller, if they had it.
Thank you a head of time.

Sears sells rotary tools. I do not know if they have what you are looking for but it is worth a try.

Kerry:
http://www.blackanddecker.com
Click "Power Tools", and then "Rotary Tools". They have several models (RTX-2 is a cased kit with 8,000 to 30,00 rpm tool, flex shaft and 53 accesories) No foot controllers that I could see, and they don't list prices. I've had a B & D flex tool for a long time and it's done everyting I needed it to do. Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone for the information, I went to checking them out, and that Black and decker with the flex shaft, it can't have a foot speed controller cause it is an multi speed one, the only ones that you can use with a foot controller with, has to be a single speed.
I done a lot more checking on the Black and Decker model and they claim to be twice as strong as the competition, but they only have a 2 amp motor, and the price of them are $59.95, to 59.99 the places they had for you to buy them at, now that price is pretty good for what all you get.

Kerry,

The Foredom model looks a lot like the older Dremel and does come equiped with the foot controller.

Well, here's the latest.....
Just returned from Target Stores.....
They have a flex shaft rotary tool with speed control, on sale for $19.99.
Looks like the old Dremil, comes with a bunch of bits, polishing, the usual stuff, a flex shaft, and the clamp on tool mount.
So if you have a Target around you, you might want to check it out.
The speed control is built in.... not the foot one.
