Hello all.

Its been a while since i posted.

But anyway i was wondering what paints you people use for your model sand what brands you use. I make aircraft models modern, WW2 Vietnam etc. I have started building a Armor. The paints i use Leave a shiny finnish and doesnt look to goo don a tank like a challenger 2 or an Abrams. So can you tell me what good paints are out there.

And one other thing, do you guys and girls paint your models after it has been completely constructed or do you paint each individual part and then glue it into place? Just wondering i paint each piece which is why it takes soooooo long.

Thanks

I use Polly Scale acrylics mostly and I paint subassemblies. Since I sort of hate painting, it also takes me forever to finish a model!

Ah the best part is painting. I use Vallejo model color and Model air. I am a true AB devote - double action is the way to go! I build as much as possible before painting, but there are always some sub-assembles. Just think about what can and cannot be painted easily and go from there. If you get a gloss finish you can always give it a shot of dullcoat to kill the shine.
