I am having troubles with pics not showing up in old forum posts. I am getting that white square with red "X" symbol where the pics are supposed to be. Is this something on my end or is it something on armorama that I need to enable??

I'm not knowledgeable here, but if they were hosted in the old gallery, and it is now gone, then the photos linked there would show up as red Xs.

Link? I need to know which photos to be sure. I did make a change today that I am hoping does not affect old photos.

Could be that the person who's gallery the pics are in has deleted them to make room for newer pics - if they aren't an A-guard member you don't get many pics before it gets full!

I was just looking at a couple of posts in regards to building a paint booth and all the ones I could find would not show the pics--If any of you would like--I could go find the post information and maybe you guys could determine from that? Thank you all for responding!!!

There is another forum link that I couldn't get pics on!

One other problem I was having was that when I did a general search--I could view one page after another--when I did a specific search into paints and airbrushing, I could only view the first page of posts. When I tried to go to the next page, there were no posts even though it showed additional pages on top of the forum. It would also not allow me to go back a page once I viewed the empty post page(little back arrow at top wasn't showing--but I never tried right clicking and it might have been there)
I'm not being too picky I hope--I was just wondering if it was my computer so I could fix it--Love the site and would never try to be an idiot about things!! lol
I was just trying to look at old posts before starting a new one on the same subject!!

The first one has images that *were* in his personal photo gallery. Selrach must have deleted them at some point.

The second post has images hosted on that users own web site. Also must have removed them I guess.

As for the search, yes I am aware of this problem. To be honest the internal search capabilities of the site are rather limited (and very database intensive) so I am probably going to switch to a "google only" method of searching. Google has like 60,000 pages of the site indexed.

Cheers,
Jim
