Thanks Rebelsolder but that's not the one. My dad was a truck driver in WWII but I never heard if he drove the soft top, like Tamiya does, or the hard top, like Italeri does.
Thanks Stephen, that is very good news. I will look forward to that since these trucks are like hens teeth. You see them once in a while on ebay, but they usually are gone before I can get them.
Oh, welcome to Armorama. With your attitude of helping people you'll fit right in here.

Halfyank,
Someone just put one up for sale for $20 at Missing-Lynx. Scroll down to trucks to find it.
Here is the link Hard Top CCKW

Thanks very much Gino. Missing-Lynx doesn't like me, at least I've never been able to get a user name and login set up with them. I guess if they don't like me, I don't like them. I think I'll wait and see what I can find, perhaps waiting until Italeri re-issues it.

The hard top model was # 271, and the soft top model is #205 the water truck was #201 now it was hard top, seems like it should go back to # 171, sense the hard tops were made before the soft tops.

Kerry the water tanker came out first then the soft top cargo and then later the hard top cargo. So the numbering is correct.
