Well this is the first time that I have been on in over a week. The reason for that is that she who must be obeyed AKA my lovely wife, gave birth to our first child on Sunday 4-17. Our son came out after 22 hours of labor and weighed in at 7 lbs and 14 ounces. Since then I have done little but help out with the child and I have completely taken over cooking and cleaning, well i did most of the cooking before too, and I have not touched any hobby projects My question to all you dads out there is how long did it take you to get back to your normal hobby routines?

Too funny, Vinnie.

Congrats Indy. Cooking is one of my "other" hobbies, too. (Have you ever been to Penzie's on 86th street? Great spice store) Anyway, good luck and Godspeed with your new project.

Shaun

PS: Save all of those Gerber baby food jars. I didn't and a few years later I was asking the people at work who had infants to save them for me. They come in really handy.

PPS: We want a picture, dammit!! :-) :-)

Apparantly my beloved gave birth but i missed it. I only noticed when a 5 yr old wanted pocket money :-) :-) :-) . But seriously a good couple of weeks, and then in another room ( i swear glue and paint fumes are good for a child ).
Congratulations, may you have many more.
