For those who have seen the new Burger King commercials with the guy dressed like a king wearing a plastic head with a permanent smile and says nothing... do you find him kind of spooky? He says nothing, moves in slow motion and just pops up right in your face and hands you a sandwich.

I afraid if I opened my blinds and saw that nitwit standing there, he'd meet my friend Mr. Remington..... as in 9mm.

Which thought is more scary? The commercial where he is standing outside of the window or the one waking up with him in bed?

Scary or not, it could be worse, like Ronald MacDonald handing you a big mac!!!

LOL! I cant believe you said that!!! Too true, he is voyeuristic and mega-creepy!!!!
Even the announcer's voice has a bit of the "big boy" sound to it.
Makes me wanna wash after seeing the commercials!

or the one waking up with him in bed?

Thankg God, I haven't seen that one yet....... :-) :-) :-) :-)

Oh.... I haven't been to burger king since I first saw the creep at the window...... in my day, someone standing and looking in your window was called a peeping Tom....... :-) :-) :-) :-)
I'm sure they have a much more PC name for it today.....

Wait... that's it...... it's now called Burger King..... :-) :-) :-)

"Not that there's anything wrong with that"

Shudder....I'm ready for it to die off...Now, the real question is, if he can just appear out of nowhere, with sandwich in hand, are you sure a 12-gauge would do it? Even still, I surprised that one of those crazy websites hasn't come out with someone doing just that. He just scares me.

As for him, trust me, I work at a McDonald's, and you can't get rid of him. He's everlasting, an evil clown that kills you slowly with cholesterol and taste...

Thanks for your time.

I haven't seen that BK commercial yet, but we have laws against that kind of thing here in Ohio. I think I'd shoot first and ask questions later as well.

Just goes to show even weird marketing campaigns work....we're proof...we're all talking about it on a modeling web site

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Man, I can't believe it - I'm not the only one who gets freaked out by the Burger King! My sister & I have talked about that at length about how creepy that is! It is strange though because here in the Nashville area of Tennessee all the Burger Kings are closing/ closed. ?
Now the commercial with Hootie singing...I don't give 2 bits about Brooke Burke in the swing. I'm more into "the girl with the nice caboose" - per the song. You only see her for a half a second on that commercial - talk about sex selling burgers!

Shuddder! Creepy is right! If I opened the shade and was confronted by that, the plastic king would be riddled by several rounds from my 45 ACP Colt combat Commander !!!!

Well. I freaked with the first one..waking up with this guy in bed handing the other guy a sandwich. I figured well someone's gonna get canned big time. Then they came out with that Cowboy one with all the cute sexy girls...listen to the words the guy is singing.....it ain't all about the sandwich. Now the open your blinds and surprize...the bright spot in that is at the end when he gets hit by the newspaper....I don't think the guy in the suit knew it was coming don't know how their sales are going, but someone in the heirarchy must like this bozo line of advertising

When I was a kid in the 70s the MacDonald's Hamburglar literally gave me nightmares (the older more scary version). This weird Burger King is freaky, little kids across the country are waking up screaming "Mommy the grinning king is going to get me"

And all I can say about those other commercials (the ones with the blonds) -- poor Hooty, he shoulda sticked with the Blowfish...
