Hi Guys

I would like the 15 or so modelers who reponded and said that they would come to the show. For those of youwho have other comitments or live a bit far away: you guys are missing a great event. Fot those of you who promised to come and didn't: no simpathies if you moan later because you missed out.

Despite the lack of interest whe have desided to go ahead with our convention if only for a few guys as whe do it for the love of the hobby, and not as some say for the shine. Those of you who have a change of heart are welcome as visitors as the entry date is past and no late entries will be excepted.

I will post photos as soon as the show is past.

Well our mamoth undertaking has come to an end. After four exhausting but glorious days of modelling whe can say that the show went down well. Whe had over 300 models and the competition was stiff. Whe had hobby vendors and even a real life leutnant from Grossdeutsland in the Vrystaat. For those who are intrested a CD with the 600 or more photos whe took as well as video clips from the workshops is available. Just PM me and whe will send it your way for a nominal fee as soon as whe have finished compliling it.

Over 300 models? That's fantastic! So the turnout was better than expected? Excellent! Well done to all that participated and to the organizers!

Vorster, when can we expect some pics on Armorama celebrating this event?

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the show, I had great fun and met many new people. The standard was very high and there were in fact 309 models on display - excluding diaromas!!

The venue was great and the hospitality was excellent!
(it was realy great to get some of that good old "boere" type hospitality and politness after being used to a big city's lack of it ! )

I must congratulate the Potch guys and look forward to the one next year!!
