With the help of my wife I was able to redo my hobby room to maximize the limited space that I have. My work bench is longer now and I do not have to remove one project to work on another now. I will be getting back to some serious building as soon as My thumb heals up. Dumb me put a drill through the nail and out the other side. can you say ouch!! A link to other photos of my new hobby room make over. http://photos.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/14440

Great work area you have there Dave.

Hey Brian, your name sounds familiar. Did you used to hang out at the Sixth Division or any 1/6th scale websites?

I was thinking the same thing Brent. I served with a guy named Wilbanks at Lackland AFB back in 1976. He was my supervisor and taught me the ropes to being a dreaded TI with the old 3701 BMTS.

Looks great Dave, every thing in it's place. I find (with my little experience) when my work area is neat and organized, I enjoy building more and I think I do better work.
Looks like you may need more lighting over your bench and maybe a 1st aid kit (tease)

Hey Brent, actually, yes, I'm a member of several 1/6 scale websites like OSW,GL's,Joeworld, and a few others....... I usually go by the handles "GungHo" or "GungHo Brian"....

Brent, I think you and I traded in the past man

I've been into 1/6 stuff off and on since the late 90's when 21stC released thier Vietnam era stuff.

Animal, I was born in '76........and unfortunately was never in the military.

I don't have any relatives that I'm aware of (on the Wilbanks side of my family anyways) that were in the service in '76 ...sorry man

Hey Dave nice room. I have to redo mine as well now as the new electric power chair don't fit the benches I have now. Or is that suppose to be the other way round. :-)

Funny you brought this up. One of the reasons for the make over is for a new chair I hope to get soon. It is a power chair and I elevated the bench to compensate for this. Small world....
