I have been off the site for a bit work has been busy and life is insane. I have been working on my Seeing Red projects and now I am off to a 5 day school in Alabama at the old Ft. McClellen. Are you going through the Cobra course?

No not the full COBRA course but a new EMS course they started. I'm doing COBRA in the fall. Been there Patrick? Steven I heard the same thing you spoke about in the PM very run down. I will not share the photos. I don't want to break your heart. Off the plane. Be safe everyone.

Where was Bravo located? Were you in the same complex? I recall Charlie and Delta were located on the otherside where the Mess Hall was located. Man it's been sooooo long ago. I remember to the south of us was a big motorpool that had this tank outfitted with a CS fogger.

No, I haven't been through the course. Several of the guys here at work have. I just can't find a reason to go stand in live nerve agent. Be safe.


BTW, you guys that may have been at Ft. McClellan should know, the base closure committee shut it down a few years back. It is now used by AL National Guard and DHS. The MP School was moved to Ft. Leonard Wood, as well as the SWAT training that they offered. The city of Anniston runs the golf course, and the housing was bought and made available to the public.

Yeah I knew they closed USAMPS and moved it to Leonard Wood. An MP friend sent some photos of the base from a couple of years ago. The barracks were overgrown with weeds and vines....sad.

Like I told Scott, seeing it like that makes me feel like a relic.
