I would like to know, when writitng an article about the model you have built, can you use the historical part of your instruction sheet to talk about the history of your model? Would it be an infringment of the copy write laws? Please help. Thank you.

You can certainly use facts from the history part of the instructions in your article, but surely your research revealed other facts too. Remember, “if you quote only one source that’s plagiarism, if you quote three sources that’s research”

Or be totally safe, and mention your sources at the end of the article.

As long as you quote the statements you used and give credit to the source it's not an infringement.
