I saw the post about the avatars, ad I thought it was a good one. I voted that we should be able to pick our own avatars, if enough people vote this would they accept it ? Because im dying to use my NERV maple leaf avatar that I use on other forums. And Im pretty sure people dont like having the same avatar as other people.

I agree. Having an own avatar would be great (pretty much all Finns here have Mannerheim! :-) )

But if allowing off-site avatars makes the forum load slower, then I would be against it. Smooth operation comes before pretty looks, IMO.

Jim's pretty sick at the moment, but once he's fighting fit again I'm sure he'll revisit the avatar issue.

At this point in time 56.67% of the voters have voted for the custom avatars.

Me, personally, I like my avatar. It looks kinda like me...if you're stoned or hammered looking at it through the bottom of a dirty guiness glass with squinty eyes.... :-) LOL :-)

Actually I love the idea of more options, but I support the option that doesn't make the site slower.
