Are you talking about the Avenger HMMWV-based air defense artillery vehicle? Academy never did an Avenger.
Esci did one a very long time ago (late 80s) that was very inaccurate. Italeri released one around 2000 that was much better but suffered from poor sales due to the fact that they had just started reissuing reboxed Esci kits (M60A1, M60 Blazer) and speculation was that it was a reissued Esci kit.
It was in fact a new original Avenger based on their own HMMWV series.
Academy did only four HMMWV kits, the 2-door M998, M1025, M966 TOW, and M997 Ambulance. AFV Club also released a Taiwanese Marine Corps HMMWV that included the Academy M998.

Strange how I got a P-etch kit for an Academy Avenger if it didn't exist. Possibly a typo on Eduards part?
I've got all those other ones you mentioned, and since I got those Frets by accident, I thought maybe they did make them. Weird...

I just checked Eduard's website (www.eduard.com) and they list it for the Italeri kit, but the downloadable instruction sheet page 1 clearly says Academy, but gives the Italeri kit number, 6387.
I would chalk this up to a typographical error.
After looking at the instruction sheets, you should be able to use just about all of the PE on any HMMWV kit by Italeri or Academy. The exception is the PE for the turret on pages 4 and 5.

Ya, the label on the outside even says Academy. Funny stuff. After going through all the Frets I've got for all these Hummers, I may go bonkers.
At least none of them will look OOB.
Now if I can just find someone who has the Blast OIF Humvee sets in stock...

SOPMOD,
Order them straight from Blast Models. I just did and everything went fine with them. It took 10 days for my stuff to get here. The total plus shiping for all three sets, tires, plus the Pro Arts SINCGARS was around $90. There was a thread about ordering from them and I had stated the difference in prices between them and Mission Models.

I've seen them at MM, but it was listed as OOS. I guess they don't use real time, so I'll give them a call.
As for price, I don't really care how much they cost, I just want it like...now. I'm sure others have felt the same way
