After being disqualified for the contest in Vancouver, I had 2 kits photoed for FSM and one of them made May 2005 issue. Its on page 49 number 10. Now we'll see how my Panzer III and Jagdpanther fare in the Seattle IPMS show next weekend.

Great going, Chief!
Good looking Shermie; Is that a mile marker of some sort by the right front? I really like the stowage on the rear deck

Nice going there Chief, so that good looking Sherman is yours...nicely done. BTW, another guy from Armorama got his kit in the FSM, it is the F4 by Paul Fernandez or "Riversphynx". I think its the one flying over the clouds...

Very nice. I was also in FSM twice recently. My mounted knight and M1 Abrams. I will be at the Seattle show too. I plan on bringing my T34 diorama. I think these things are in my gallery. Maybe I will see you there.

Congrats Chief
I'm a bit new to the site.
In FSM's Great Scale Modeling 2005 one of my figures made the cut. It's on page 65 #4. Surprised me a bit as I hadn't submited anything to them.
Again congrats
Jerry

Gratz for being in FSM Chief!
I may have missed it, but why were you "disqualified in Vancouver?"
Just curious, I have never entered any shows myself but support them when they are in my neck of the woods.
Cheers, Michael

Lauren, Congratulations on your work being published. That is a nice Sherman. If I may ask, how or why were you DQed in Vancouver? Good luck in Seattle. Out here.

Congratulations Chief for making it on FSM. Congrats to you too Klinger. I haven't got this months copy yet but maybe I could swing by my local B & N later to get one.

The gray green thing in the dio is a mile marker. I can't remember the road but it was a junction between Gaeta, Rome and another city I can't remember. Note the bird residue.
The reason I was disqualified was when I went to register, the gentleman who was at the counter was aparently as new to contests as I was and when I asked which catagory my kits should be in, he asked me to explain what I did to them. So after I let him know what was what he said "Sounds like they need to be in the conversion catagory" so that's where they ended up. Long story, short ending. Lesson learned: Study the entry rules/regs. and if you don't know find the guys INCHARGE of the contest and ask questions until you have a "warm fuzzy" feeling. Happy Modelling!
