Hi folks

18Bravo is looking for some pictures for scratchbuilding a G-6. This sounds like a really exciting project and we don't have too many "foreigners" interested in SA armour and artillery, so lets try help the guy out.

Either post them here or PM him for his email addie.

Thanks lads

Hi

I think that he would come up dry on most websites for those kind of photos. Will however ask my buddy in the tiffies for photos and other info on the G6.

It is about 40 Mb but I am going to send a whole set of CDs to Pekka in Finland containing video footage on SA recovery vehicles, the G6 and some other odds and ends. Might as well send him it too.

Hello,

I come to this forum by Graugrun/Matthew,because he said that here would be someone that also could help me,as he is very helpfull for me.
I'am also a foreigner,from Holland,that is in love with SANDF vehicle's.
Because I also only build models in 1/87 scale, yes very little stuf, and because there's almost nothing in this scale,I now building a G6 in this scale.
Matthew already was a great help with searching for foto's,but as you al know, the more foto's,as more you can see, therefore my post on this forum.
Eventually I want to make more models,so when it ís possible,I like everything from the SANDF.
Also read something of a cd for Pekka,if possible could this send also to my adres, ofcourse every cost there's made I would gladly cover.
Also very helpfull would be camo-schemes of the vehicle's these days.
if someone like dutch vehicle's please mail and I will looking in my fotoalbums
Thanks in advance for al the help
regards Theo

Steve,

I am going to the Johannesburg war museum soon to take some photos for "TheOke" of the G-6, I was going to take some photos of the recovery Oliphant (although it might be a "Comet tank") as well and send one or two pics to him. I can send them to you as well.

Just contact me on kingtiger(at)sourcekey.co.za and let me know as to where you want them sent to.

Regards,
Matthew

No problem Steve. I think it was the double "R" that bamboozled Matthew.
I just did the email addie that way in case there was any software trawling the site for email addies...

Steve, from my side I don't need anything at the moment, but if you come across any pics of a 6 pound A/T gun (any version, but preferably the Mk2), or the Daimler Dingo Mk2... pls send them my way - hopefully I will be picking up those projects again soon

Tarok - Steve sent me an E-mail to my work address, it does hve 2 "R"s in it. However I have the photos on my home machine, so cannot just reply to it. Cutting and pasting the address does not help either.

Steve please could you send something to my home address kalkwarfm(at)intekom.co.za.

Then hopefully at last the pics will go through without coming back as rejected!

Thanks

Graugrun.

Aah, the elusive and somewhat confusing Scottish rolling "R".... :-) :-) :-) :-)

Just glad you lads got it sorted out... :-) :-) :-)

I suppose I should have just checked Steve's profile for his email addie...
