One of our bigger customers at the foundry where I work got the contract to put the stadium seating in the new White Sox ballpark. So we are making all of the seat sides that go on the end of the aisles. The cool thing is the sides have all 8 of the logos the Sox have had in the history of the franchise.

That is just the logo, not the whole seat side, made out of cast iron.
So, if you go to a Sox game you will see iron we poured here at work.

Too cool - I'd actually like to see all the logos. Are they on a web site of the Sox?

Thanks for the comments guys.
The logos are fun to make. Pretty good for business, too. We will cast about 6,000 seat sides for the project.

The casting in the picture is about nine inches tall and 6 inches wide...

Shaun

EDIT: I will get a good picture of a whole seat side so you can see what we actually make, instead of just the logo insert.
