Hi everyone. Tankysgal1 and I just returned from the Plastic surgeons show in Des Moines this weekend. I am pleased to say that Mary (tankysgal1) took a first place with her hillbilly truck, Weeeell Doooogie
I also had a bit of luck and took first and second in the diorama category with "Die Pressung" and "Brave Souls"
Mary and I had a wonderful weekend!! We spent it with two wonderful people, Paul(nato308) and his wife Wendy. We would like to extend thanks to them for showing us a wonderful time while we were in there city, and we look forward to spending more wonderful times with them. Cheers Kevin

Congrats to both of you. Nice to see all of that fine effort recognized!
I just love that hillbilly truck. Reminds me of my in-laws... err, I meant to say that it just exudes "fun" and that's what the hobby is all about, at least to me!

Mary and Kevin,
Congratulations. Kevin, I am inclined to think it has to do with skillful work rather than simply a bit of luck.
Once again, BRAVO to the both of you.
