This show is scheduled for June 3-4-5. Their website is saying they will have 80 aircraft and 200 vehicles. I live about an hour away and never knew it existed. I'm hoping to go to at least the first day and hopefully the second too.

Go here for a full description of the museum and the show: http://www.maam.org/maamwwii.html

If you like history you will like the show.... I live about 15 miles away and have gone almost every year since i've moved to pa.

the musuem there is restoring a P-61 Black widow.. when its done it will be the only flying one in existance..

they bring in tons of planes to look at... WWII up to modern.. plus the WWII air show is great... but I really enjoy the land portion.. there is a large area that they divide up into "camps".. last year one area was a pacific camp complete with guard towers... though the guys up there had their field glasses trained on the ladies in the crowd i think... another was a WWII medical tent unit you could walk thru complete with all the period med stuff..

lets see.. hmm

oh a radio repair shed full of WWII radio's.. A german camp. couple of different army camps. and a half destroyed french village (though scalled down a bit)...

ton's of vehicles to examine.. mostly jeeps and duce's.. was a couple of u.s. halftracks.. but the german halftrack last year turned out to be a yougoslavion post war one.... and tons of other vehicles to see..

and literalllys Hundred of "reenactors" walking through the crowds in uniforms..

couple years ago a group of fellows german staff car broke down (for real) and they were fixing it on the spot and their uniforms were german mechanic uniforms.

lots of dealers mostly in prints and military air related stuff for sale and lots of uniforms and gear for sale most slightly post WWII and the stock ammo boxs and brass spent ammo for sale.. and great period shows by singers and entertainers for those who don't want to spend the day walking.......

Its worth the time.. so enjoy if you go.
