Here is a pic of the suspension on the DML ISU-122 I airbrushed on Testors MM field drab to simulate mud How does it look? I also applied some of the rust from the Rustall system to the weld beads

I see some mud shade colors but don't see any mud. I was expecting to see gobs and texture if you know what I mean.

Texture,that is key.
The stage you are at now,is the effect of dust getting on the suspension.Now think texture.A gravelly mud can be simulated with modeling putty.then you can repaint over what ever gives the fitting texture.
