Our local TV news ran a story about a high school principal in Oregon who refused to let a girl post photos of her brother and two buddies serving in Iraq on the bulletin board because they were holding their weapons, and that violated the school's "Zero Tolerance" for violence policy. So, what do you think?

IMHO, things have been carried a "little" far in the name of PC. When nail clippers are considered weapons or a child's EMERGENCY asthma inhaler must be kept with the nurse i just shake my head and wonder.
How about a Zero Tolerance policy for educators who abdicate their responsibilities and fail to do their jobs? How about no more people with a BA, whose mother tongue is English, having to take English as a Second Language (no lie GI..I know the guy it happened to....alright, he was a Newfie but that is no excuse)
