What colours are the german jerry cans? Green or grey?

and the tarpaulins for the germans, what colour are they? i've seen some in 3-tone camouflage and i'm not sure if they are tarps.

Jerry,

Most of the German jerry cans I have seen are either field gray or dark yellow (dunklegelb).

As far as the tarps are concerned, I think you may be thinking of German shelter halves, called zeltbahn. Early ones were gray, later ones had two different camouflage patterns, one inside and another outside so they were reversible.
