Heya, Angelinos,

The LA Miniaturists will be meeting this coming Saturday, April 2nd!

As always, there will be all sorts of models and figures to check out and yap about on the Show and Tell Table --- from projects just started to nearing or at completion, so don't be shy about showing off your work!! This month's Demo will be conducted by John Brosnan, who will show how he successfully achieves rust, washes, and various weathering effects, in this instance on Pacific landing craft and amtracs. Even if you are not into armor or figures, these are techneques that will benefit modelers into any genre!!

And as usual, there will be the ever-popular Hobby Raffle with lots of great kits and cool hobby stuff up for grabs...

Modelers of all skill levels and interests are welcome --- our members are into everything from sci fi, armor, and figures, to cars, scratchbuilding projects and a whole lot more.

All in all, it's a great place to hang out and chat about models and model-building, folks --- and on top of that, several of the local hobbyshops give Club members anywhere from 10 to 20% off on purchases...not a bad deal!

Club meetings are usually held on the FIRST Saturday of the month (this month being an exception due to New Years day)... Meetings officially start at 9:00 AM, but things generally don't get rolling until 9:30 or so...
The location is the Burbank Moose Lodge at 1901 West Burbank Blvd at Parish, about two blocks East of Gizmo's Hobbys in Beautiful Burbank, California!

Got questions: contact Johnny B @ [email protected]

See you there!!!!

Aloha,

Johnny B
