Just read an interesting article on The History Net about the 761st 'Black Panther' Tank Battalion.

Does anyone know of any books about this hard fighting 'Tallion?

P.S. If anyone is interested in the article here's the link.

I heard about some coloured units being made during world war 2, but I didn't know any actually saw combat. Interesting websites, thanks.

I was reading another article about the blacks that won the CMH, and it is shameful how our country took so long in presenting them to them, another-thing that was interesting was the numbers that won them.

I can't remember now, but it was no small percentage compared to whites, as a matter of fact, they were more like 7 or 8 of the blacks to a white getting one, or maybe more, but nobody knew this cause they never gave them credit until recently.

I think after they were done, it was blacks, then other minority's, with whites being last on the list on how many was given out, they were totally different from before, and totally shocked me, but I'm glad to see the one's whom deserve the CMH, finally get it.

I think there are so many unsung heroes in the form of minority groups from the previous century's wars.

Thanks for the links Drader, I have placed these 2 books on my wishlist
