This is something a lot of scratch builders would like to know about this site, they can also navigate and find solder in sizes .010", .015", .020". .025", .031" for $2.50 a 5 foot section and they also have a .006" sheet of lead foil 4"x6" for 5 bucks.

They also have enough supplies to put together 8 tow cables with ends and cable and the equipment they say for 5 bucks also

Now them might be just a tad high but 5' will last you a while, and it did only cost 2.50 so it is better then doing without, when the whole spool cost 5 to 7 bucks at radio shack, but they don't give you this good of a selection at radio shack they only have .015,.022",.032", .050" solder

I don't know if this will work better then the lead wire I just ordered from that fishing place, cause I got big spools of these same sizes for 19 dollars shipped to the house.
