Hi Peter,

Can you explain to me, why so many people only want to sell in the USA?
I've noticed this before, but never asked. Is it because of the shipping costs? Or is it the payment?

Just wondering, John.

Well John , post rates are one thing, cause a US parcel coming to europe will cost at least 10 -12 USD no matter how small or if the cost of kits is also 10$. So actually u pay doyble price the kit, or the seller dont get enough money.

Money transaction through Europe and US could also be tricky sometimes, but with Western Union is a sure thing to do !!!!!

Money transferred in 5 minutes allover the world and with less charge than the bank transfer

I would love to get the video.

I am a very visual learner and have been looking for something like that on video or DVD.

Unfortunally ebay will not accept bids from me since I am not US recident .

I actually made a slight mistake when posting items to ebay. I didn't check off the 'worldwide' shipping item for a number of items. I'll only post some items on ebay- for my own convenience I just use the United States Postal Service (USPS) - just box up the item head to the post office and I'm done. This limits shipping options.
By checking with USPS for shipping on a few things to overseas - New Zealand, Australia, etc, I see that the shipping, even with surface post (4- 6 week delivery) is very high - sometimes twice the estimated bid price of the listed item.

Because of the extremely high shipping cost I have not listed alot of items for worldwide, and I guess alot of other small ebayers only list in North America for the same reason.

I've changed a few items I've listed to worldwide just to give that option. The pontential buyer would have to make their own assessment if they want to pay a high shipping cost.

I use Paypal, which is good worldwide, I list all costs in US dollars, they do the currency conversions, and no problem. Some ebayers accept credit cards directly- which may be why they only list in North America.

No offense to European bidders! (I'm European myself, 2 generations removed )

Peter
