The big question is---- Where do you find decals for other countries and little known units . Not all kits carry markings for what we may require so, is there an outlet or is it a case of ,"do it the hard way." I have tried drawing them and reducing,then painting over vith varnish---works but time consuming--don't have enough or have not got a decent pic to print on decal sheet--cost effective? Any bright ideas to circumvent this delema. Cannot really finish my model as I cannot get the markings to do it justice.

Following our recent conversation, I can't help but throw my 2p in.

There are a few options.
For the more simple decals, the sort of more "generic" ones, like numbering and lettering templates and masks are available from a variety of manufacturers.
For the more country specific decals, these are often produced by local manufacturers that seldom even leave a blip on the radar. I'm guessing these are what you are after Your best solution here is to leave a post on that country's community forum and see what kind of feedback you get.
