Hey everybody on the Big A

I was thinking about to start a campaign with subjects Military Police. This could be from early days to present (and near future for the SciFi friends?) Any country is allowed off course!
Perhaps also include a catagory with para-military policeforces (Gendarmerie, National Guard, Guarda Civil, Marachaussee,Carabiniere, etc. ) and SWAT or anti-terror like units.
Entries could be figures, vehicles, AFV's, dio's etc.

Now I've seen some campaigns beeing proposed lately, but some only come to a few participants.
So, thats why I'm checking out if you guys and (don't forget them!) girls are interested.
How about it??

If you got questions / ideas / wishes / demands for this campaign (for instance about categories, rules, dates, etc.) please let me know.

Paul

Nice concept.

Now, if only someone would make 1/35 Mercedes Benz G series ......

And someone would have Nassau Blue paint, off course. ( for the Dutch Marechaussee )

Hey Richard,

Well, not in 1/35 as far as I know, but Roco brings it 1/87. Or rebuild an 1/45 Siku?
The blue could be overcome also, I guess.
Be creative and you got the most beautifull models!
We're modellers, not kit assemblers! :-) :-)
But I agree, that one is not easy...

Richard,
I come back on my earlier post. Is a MB Wolf also usable. It comes in 1:35 from PremiumclassiXXs Y-Series. But it's a real limited and expensive model...

We like to see those reference pictures!
Perhaps a 'walkaround' also?
But I like the idea, it's great!

nah, that one is a soft top lol, also, the brown seems too earthen to me.

Strange though that this vehicle, which is used by a lot of armies, not just the Dutch and German ones ( French Peugeot licenced builds, for instance ) is not available as a plastic kit.

Same is true for another vehicle that has been used by many, but of which few kits are around: the land rover. ( yes there is the old tamiya kit, i know )

Indeed, the landrover comes off pretty bad. Airfix had one, but I tought it was 1:45 or 1:32
And there are 1:35 kits from Monti (I guess these are the ones "authorised" by Landrover) but they are realy, realy bad; just toys....

Way to go Darktrooper!
Another one joins the club!

(As a Dutchie I had to look up MOS in a Military dictionary and discovered it stands for Military Occupational Specialty...OK, learned another thing this day...)

To everybody:
Are there some preferences for the period of the campaign? Or shall we start for instance in may or june and end in december 05 or january 06?
Let me know what you think!!!!!!!

Hey Paul I would like to enlist in this campaign. What i'd like to enter is a US Army MP PBR 31Mk. II. I saw that everything else was listed except for boats. What do you say...

Hey Joe!

Boats huh...?
Yeah, sure thing, why not?
I did not mentioned these because I had not think about boats.

But when boats are used for MP tasks (or Coastguard, Waterpolice etc.) it's allowed, off course!

Welcome to the club!

Matrix!

You din't affended anyone.
I know you had a fire from the other post and I am true in my comments finding you someone with a backbone (I mean that possitive!!) when you start (thinking of) modelbuilding shortly after that!
You are an example how to positive get back with your life after an event like that!
There are no 'tumbs up' emoticons here, otherwise I placed them!
