I feel like a moron for asking this. The Strv 122 instructions call for .5 wire. I don't know if this is a wire gage or what. The kit is from Europe so I might be a metric measurement. Went to the LHS and got some .020, 1/32 and 3/64 wire pieces. Which is closest?
Thanks,
Paul

So does this mean that .5/10 millimeters in a centimeter * .39 = .0195 of an inch so the .020 is the closest match?

Yup. .5 mm / 25.4 mm/inch = 0.0196850394 inch and that matches around .020 inch.
Wire & things are tough, some come in inches, some in metric, some in gauge, and some in small/medium/large -- and it doesn't help that the larger the gaugew number, the smaller the diameter.
Of course if you were into to old sailing ships, you'd find they measured rope by circumference -- and if you don't get that straight your model really looks funny ....
