In a little less than 2 months Calgary will be hosting the Western Canadian Regional Model Contest. This is year number 11 that the Rocky Mountain Model Club is hosting a contest and it promises to be bigger that ever. Already some major players have signed up to be sponsors and word is spreading that this is a great show to attend; just look at the 2005 issue of Great Scale Modelling.

We would like to invite one and all to the show. Whether you're a novice or an experienced model builder, we're sure you'll find something there that will interest you. And if what's on display doesn't catch your eye, maybe you'll find something in the swap room that does.

The big show is only 12 days away. We are getting more and more sponsors each week, including a number of armour manufacturers that are joining us for the first time this year. There are now more than 50 sponsored "Best ..." awards, and hundreds of catagories to enter models in. The response from people who have committed to coming has been great so we're looking forward to an excellent show. We've also got a number of vendors' table booked so there will be the chance to spend a little cash as well.
