Greetings to all Patricias here. Have a great Regimental Day, hoist a few for those who went before us and don't kill too many officers playing Broom-i-loo.

ps...Mike, congrats on the course ranking

And to you, Dave. It even snowed here in Edmonton in honour, just to grease up the field! Maybe Mike can fill us in on what the First did for it, I saw the Third out there roughing each other up.

We've been specifically told not to kill the officers...but friendly legal hit are great :-) We also have a LAV pull (hey were mech gotta get that in somewhere!) as well as some tug o wars, showshoe baseball and chain of command races. Followed by free beer and burgers. Now this is what I call work.

Happy Regimental Day to all my fellow Particias.

Just remember the first rule of Broom-I-Loo..........there are NO rules. Enjoy and have a great time.

Well the CO and the RSM set the tone for the officer/senior nco game right off the bat by tackling each other at the ball drop. The rules have been refined though-the ball must be hit by a stick before going in the net. Also this year they had us in the hockey rink to keep the spectators at bay. I guess they weren't to happy after last year when we dragged a young officer into the crowd and sent him back out with nothin but his boots and underwear!!! You never wanted to get close to the sidelines...only the sidelines kept moving closer and closer :-) Ahh the good old days.

I'm amazed you left him with more than his boots. Must have been a fresh Lt. to get caught like that. I remember the day I broke a broom over BGen Christie's shins in Pet. That man had NO sense of Ha Ha.
