Hi Frank, I don't believe you're familiar with Real Ale :-) :-) I very much doubt I could get anywhere near 12, AND build a model....or much else for that matter... .

Dave, tonight, 3-0 to the beer..

lol, it realy is awsome, but man... depends how drunk you are!... o, and jsut for safety!

i know us men bewlieve we are invincible and can do anything when were drunk( yup, beer is strogn enought to make me dance and make a foul of myself :-) ) but plz, when modeling drunk... stay away from superglue

lol, and Henk... ive had a first hard time drunk lol.... vodka and all these mixes gave bad results lol! i got a good definition of ale that time :-)

Once I painted some details on a 120 mm figure, after a bottle of wine. It was quite fun. The fun ended the after when i saw the result.

Bishops finger is a very nice beer. It's not easy to find these British ale's in Denmark and when you do find them, they are very pricy. At least 2-3£ a bottle.
How much is a Bishops finger in England?

Is this a cooking question?
I would use a pan, possibly a wok, flash-fry the Sherman then flambe with a schooner of Calvados, garnish with PE and serve with a nice salad.
Drink the beers.

Whatever you do after having a few of those brews don't light up that stove to make yourself a cup of tea.

Slodder, tempted as I was by the smell of fresh plstic, I'm affraid the the beers won last night..
Not to bad a head today, but the reality of having to be back in work tonight does put a damper on my otherwise good mood. We received the keys for our new house today, after a long three month toing and froing by the solicitors. (lawyers). Well, new, the house was build in 1848 and a lot of work is needed before we move in. I'm starting tommorrow with replacing the kitchen.. . I told SWMBO that I'm as good at DIY as I'm at modeling (a blatent lie). She just rolled her eyes and is hoping for the best. So am I... :-) :-) .
So unfortunatly the models will take a backseat for a few weeks, but like Major Rob, I'll keep something small and some paint close at hand. Probably a figure as that's easier to hide :-) :-) .
Ohh, Alan, I will have to upload the photo's tommorow, you might be surprised..

Cheers

Geeze, I've been working the last six years on a house made in 1948. My limiting factors have been lack of money, fixable, and lack of skill, hopeless. I've gotten to the point that I'm amazed at what I've been able to do, but also way past caring how it looks when done. If I can get a door in the hole and it opens and closes, I consider it a job well done.

You have my condolences for what is going to be coming up for you.

Lol - I have newer tried modeling while drunk, but I like the company of a good Single Malt and a mug of coffee and some Mayall or Rob Tognoni in the background....

But beer is fine too - try O“Hara - thats a fine beer.

That's a hoot. Pretty funny stuff

I tried modeling while drinking and I can only last for about two beers, then the talent just starts to go down the drain in a hurry.

Kids don't try this at home - it is not recommended at all!!! Alcohol and Xactos don't mix.

Tried to work on my Hummel yesterday after a few shots of Absinthe and things didnt go too well. I had to lay down for a bit. I will agree alchohol and X-actos dont mix.
