Skipper and Treadhead are getting together a future campaign for the Viet Nam Riverine forces, and needs your input. I thought I would post this here for those that dont frequent the Warships forum, but do have a interest in Viet Nam modeling and history. This be the Brown Water Navy! This campaign will include a wide array of subjects of interest. So if this era in modeling holds interest to you, go there and check it out!
Your input will be highly regarded!
Best wishes,
Garry

Howdy Garry, mother,
Many thx for taking the time to make an attempt at generating interest here at the big 'Armor' ama in a water-based build
Your efforts are indeed noteworthy...
Methinks that this subject is even less popular than the regular 'Warships' forum, but then that's to be expected and completely understandable. Maybe we should consider renaming this potential campaign/group build/modeling effort as something more 'Nam' themed, just to maybe lure those modelers that enjoy modeling 'Nam era stuff?
Anyway....just a thought.
Tread.

I have Tamiya's PBR waiting in my "to do" pile. I would join in on this!

This will be a very interesting campaign I'm sure. Fascinating subject, the Brown Navy especially since my interest in modern era figures seem to have slowed down and I'm working my way back to WWII via the Vietnam era.
Would it possible to widen the campaign a bit to include perhaps the SEALS or any other land or air based units involvement with and/or assisting the Brown Navy? Just a suggestion though as it may help to gather more recruits as they're only so many boat models available.

Good suggestion CK, why don't you go to the thread in the warships forum and bring this up. It sounds good to me!
