That's pretty cool. I used to build all kinds of 'what-ifs' when I played with Legos. Now the pieces are incredibly specific. You can do so much more with them now.

The muzzle brake is just a cone piece. I long built hypothetical military models out of Legos. Nothing like a Tiger or Stuke (though i did get close to a Corsair and had a patrol ship with a convincing 3in gun mount). I made trucks, a couple light thanks, aircraft (conventional and futuristic) and some other light ships. Mainly I made infantry weapons for my figures and did squad and platoon assaults...my childhood was (and somewhat still is) too realistic.

There was a spin-off Lego company that built some military models: F-15s, F-16s, M113s, LCACs; they also made M-16s for their figures. And was able to get a few of these.
