on exactly what this 'Slide-mold' technology is?

Like in Dragons new Tiger I tank.

Think of a mould as being 2 parts brought together and plastic injected under pressure. Certain configurations cannot be moulded since they would trap air etc. but slide moulding is 3 or more parts being brought together, which allow a much more complicated shape to be moulded, including undercuts etc.
