Well, first off where do you order from?

Now heres a short list of some Online retail stores that i can think of off the top of my head.

www.greatmodels.com
www.hometown-hobbies.com
www.hlj.com
www.hobbyeasy.com
www.luckymodel.com ( one of this sites sponsors)
www.squadron.com
www.militaryhobbies.com
www.missionmodels.com
www.spruebrothers.com

Those are just some of the ones that I can think of. I usually dont order online, except for hard to find stuff. I support the LHS as much as i can because i get a 20% discount off my purchases for being a club member.

I try to order from
http://www.luckymodel.com
whenever I can, simply because they carry an enormous stock, have a realtime indicator of stock level, i.e. when something shows up as in stock, it actually is! Good postal rates, excellent prices, and they listen to customers, even posting replies on this forum. Oh, and my brother-in-law owns it. Naw! Just kidding! God I wish!
If I can't get what I want from there I'll try Hannants, it's just that post takes longer from there since they use the Royal Mail. :-)

I order from Sprue Bros. http://spruebrothers.zoovy.com/
and from Great Models Webstore. http://www.greatmodels.com/

Gordon’s list of models are current at Sprue Bros... if it's listed... he has it. Plus his shipping and packaging is great. Shipping is 2 days to Seattle for less than 8 bucks. Also... Gordon is a sponsor of this site.

But with that said... I try to support my local hobby shop as much as I can.

I'll second good experiences with Lucky Model, they show what they have in stock and ship it promptly and don't kill you on shipping.

You can safely use any of the vendors that advertize here at Armorama, all give good service, and since they are also members, there should be no communication problems.

I swear by Squadron Mail Order (www.squadron.com). I have bought from various others (url included for ones not listed above):
Great Models
Alanger (my #1 place to get PST kits)(http://www.alanger.us/)
Roll Models (http://www.rollmodels.com/)
Hometown Hobbies
Military Hobbies
Tracks & Troops (my #1 place for HTF 1/72 armor)(http://www.tracks-n-troops.com/)
The Barrel Store (http://www.bentbutnotbroken.com/)

A couple of small online stores run by modelers that I have had good service from:
Alpenflage Hobbies (http://home.comcast.net/~alpenflage-hobbies/alpenflage.htm)
Models by Mickster (http://www.modelsbymickster.com/hobbyshop/)

Due to taxation I mostly buy from within the EU - I prefer Hannants and Blast-models.

When I have time to wait, I buy from Squardron and have it shipped to my brother in law i Pennsylvania, I then collect or have it shipped ass "gifts"

Smaller items I sometimes buy from HLJ.

modelwarehouse.biz its not the best of sites but they are reliable and cheap they even have some resin figures on sale for $5-7 dollars some. I dont know if yall have been to it but the shipping is also cheap and it arrive in 3-4 days just thought id share.

I usually use www.hometown-hobbies.com but have recently also added www.greatmodels.com to my short list. I used to use roll models but most of my orders from them were incomplete plus I had to pay sales tax (6.5%) with them. All paint, thinner, glue, etc. I get from one of 2 LHS.
