The Maquette T-34 (of which they make several variants--
T-34/85,, T-34/76, T-34 Stalingrad) are generally good in thatt
they have a degree of accuracy that the Tamiya kits don't have.
They have open deck grate so you can put the included screen in, they have individual tack links which are (in my opinion) a
must for any degree of realism, and they have jointed armor plates on the front glacis which allows you to make the model without the front fenders and look realistic. Tamiya has the advantage of the earlier style wheels without the spokes, and, of course, you can get the ChTZ style turret. Squadron sometimes sells the T-34's quite reasonably ($12.00-$13.00),
whereas the Tamiya T-34's are in the $22.00-$25.00 range ($39.00 for ChTZ version). The new Dragon kits have the nicest overall package with the well-fiitting tracks (no file cleanup as with the Maquette tracks), the photoetched deck screens, and overall excellent detail level, plus a good subject. Incidentally the Maquette Stalingrad T-34 (STZ) is one of two types, unfortunately the less desirable (in my opinion) types. The rear of the turret is rounded instead of the bolted flat plate that I see in a majority of photographs.
It would be a simple addition to alter this with an additional part, but is still extra work. Hopefully not too much information.

I wont talk about other maquette T-34's or kits i did few and theyre nice but about T-34 STALINGRAD

read THIS TOPIC

read carefully each of the steps and than, go buy yourself some of the other two maquette T-34's my guess is each of the two fits nicely, but stalingrad is a mix of sprues and its simply....hmmm....... no comment!

Parts from same sprues had decent fit but in places where you need to combine the two.... aiiiii

cheers

I'd guide you towards the Dragon T-34s or the Zvezda/Italeri T-34s before I recommended a Maquette T-34.

Tamiya would be the last one I'd recommend unless you were an absolute beginner and were not concerned with accuracy.
