How do i perform a dry transfer?

Just as the title say how do i perform a dry transfer can someone please explain this to me.

First step would be to prepare the surface by having it be clean and with a semi-gloss finish. next depending upon the size of the transfer cut around it and lay it down on the surface. The next step would be to rub back of sheet with a burnishing tool (pen or other smooth tool will work). Continue rubbing until all of transfer is on surface. Gently pull paper back. If all of the transfer is not on surface lay back down and repeat process. Once you are satisfied you should clear coat to protect.

Dont put a gloss coat on go straight onto the matt paint , i tried them with a gloss coat turned into a disaster. Theres been a couple of posts on this subject lately their worth reading.
