Hi All

Hereby you are invited to the biggest Modeling Convention in the North. It will be hosted in the Municipal Museum in Potchefstroom from the 29th of April to the 1st of May. There will be workshops and presentations on a wide range of topics from Luftwaffe Fighters to Israeli armor Tactics.

Esswex will bring along their slot car racing track and the model railway guys a layout. At least three hobby suppliers will attend (George is one of them) along with a consignment of cheap tools from Cape Watchmakers.

At present IPMS Potch, Pretoria, Vaal and Bloem will attend along with the NNL from Kimberly and the guys from Jo'burg. We plan to have at least 50 modelers attending.

The show will be advertised on the net (like this post) as well as in the written media and on the Radio.

I have placed it on the SA events calendar. I didn't put it specifically as an IMPS Potch event tho, as from the IPMS Vaal Triangle website I had gathered it was a joint venture.

Incidently I also put the nat '04 on here, but as you know, Cpae Townians are pretty slow to adapt :-) :-) :-)

Not many of our club members have computers (sigh it would make my life as editor so much easier) but the few who does will certainly be bullied into becomming members.
