Hail Zod!

Just a guess but I am betting the rear one was being towed. The tow bar pushed the back of the front one up and the front of the back one down before breaking off. The front tank has its gun forward and the back one has it's gun aft is why I am saying this. And I think I see the remains of an exhaust shroud on the front one.

Where to start..... :-) :-) Judging by the lack of cr...equipment tied to the turrets this has to be on excersise rather than deployment. With the turrets pointing this way the towing accident sounds plausible, but would the towing bars really be unable to deal with the weight of the towed vehicle? or maybe the didn't use the bars but thought ' we're only going down the range, we can do this with a cable' ?

Good call anyway, thanks Dave

I've seen towed tanks get to rolling downhill and the driver who should be braking "loose it" but never seen it hit so hard that it would slip under the other one. My guess is the front one saw something and the driver threw it into reverse and floored it. Sure hope no one got busted up with that collision, I know that must of hurt.
