Micro Mark has a lot of stuff, but when it come to general stuff like x-acto blades, they either don't have the ones I want, or you got to buy 3 sets just to get the one set I need.
Then I got pretty upset with Widgets when I ordered their x-acto drill bits, back when I ordered, and got them, they said drill sizes from 1.35mm to 5.2mm on the small set, then 4.0mm to 7.8mm on their medium set.
Well this is X-acto, a well trusted name, and it was $12 retail a set, I never dreamed they never put in nothing like they said. There is a few smaller ones but nothing close to a #80 like they said there should be in the small set.
Later on I got a full drill bit set with an index, and it has a full row of small bits, smaller then the ones that come in the small set that come from X-acto from Widgets.
I contacted Widgets, and they said they couldn't do anything about it, at first they said to return them, but their policy is return in unopened resalable condition, but how can you know you got jipped if you never opened them.
That is a joke right there, I would of given them a set of drill bits, plus they got my money, plus I got to pay for all this.
They are good drill bits, but some are duplicated, by giving the same one twice, then one in the medium set is the same size as in the small set, but there was only one in the medium set that was the same.
The medium set turned out pretty good, there was only two #52 in that set, and the rest went from #59 to #47 skipping the #51, 53, 54, 55, 58 cause I only got a index that goes to #60 so I can't tell the smaller ones.
The small set only had 4 in it that was smaller then #60, but like I said, a whole row bigger then #80 though, and they were supposed to be down to #80
Now they got their advertisement to say it may very, but when I bought them, there was no word about very, and they had two different sizes, the small set, and the medium set.
The only thing they are real good bits, but you will have no idea what sizes you will get when you buy them now, cause when they say it may very, they mean it Vere's.
Now the set says 1.35mm to 5.2mm, but they are pretty big bits. I asked them to just send a couple small ones next to #80, then I'll be happy, but they don't even want to do that.
I should of done this before they changed their advertisement, cause then they had run out of the small ones and only had the mediums left, but now I see, they only have a picture of the small drill bit pack.
But is there any other mail order stores that have a lot of general supplies to choose from, besides Micro Mark, and Widgets that have reasonable prices.
Sorry about that long story, but I had to tell about the rip off on them drill bits at Widgets.
Thank you for your help a head of time
