I'm just wondering if there is any company that make letters in decal, dry or wet transfer doesn't matter. I need various sizes and in various colours for a little project of mine... and I'm affraid to say, it isn't even military related...

Archer has many letter styles and sizes, also SuperScale. Check a model railroad store.

Check at a hobby shop that sells model railroading stuff. They have lots of sizes, colors, etc.
