He Eric, good to see you.
I like the figure and the building they look very nice.
How did you made that shrub(struik) behind the fallschirmjäger.
Maybe you can make some overall pics from a little distance so we can see the whole dio.
Eric, agian some very nice work from you.

And can you tell me how you made the shrub(struik)?

Arthur ,

due to work i'ff be very busy lately.
So the modelling has been placed to a second place unfortunally.
But now that i have another partner at work i can take some more time off.
The last six months iff done nothing else but working .

Iff been close to a burn out so my boss hired someone to help me to give me some slack.

today i sat down behind my modelling table and said to my self now it is time to pick up were i was left in oktober..
And i must say today i find the peace of mind that i lost..

But no worries....
the skils are still present ...

I will finish this little project..and then i will start another one ...
What I don't know yet..but i think it will be a figure in 1:16...
I saw a nice one from Dragon ( again ). it concerns the german soldier on the horse..

so i think that wil be the next litte project..

thanks for your reply..

yours truly

Eric:

So far I think everything is looking really nice! I did this same figure about 2 years ago, and I must say your splinter is blowing mine away by a mile. It's a really nice figure.

As far as the setting, the operation took place at the Gran Sasso Hotel in the Italian mountains. Perhaps you've seen a picture of the Hotel, and that is what you are modeling? Are you going to be placing the Skorzeny figure with this one? I also have that figure but haven't painted it yet.

Here's a link to my feeble attempt at this figure:

Keep up the great work!

Hey Eric:

Sorry, but try as I might, I can't seem to find a good picture of the hotel. The only pictures I've found show Mussolini boarding the Storch, and also him standing with Skorzeny.

Hopefully someone else might be able to help you.

Good Luck,

John
