We are pleased to announce AFV Modeller magazine's Digital Imagination Competition. We designed it to encourage those who have experimented with or even thought of dabbling in digital imaging software to have a go-dazzle us with your creativity and take our art form to the next level. All we ask is that the main subject of the image is a model AFV and that everything is the work of one person-no joint entries please. Other than that you are welcome to use any software you like to make your model look as real as possible or even recreate an actual incident-whatever takes your fancy. The prize winning entries and a selection of the best of the rest will be published in a future issue of AFV Modeller
Of course a competition should have a worthwhile prize to aim for and we are delighted to be able to offer something truly unique. The lucky winner will be presented with an original figure study by Ron Volstad, commissioned by AFV Modeller. The second and third placed and 5 commended entries will receive prints of the original. This competition is your only opportunity to obtain this artwork as no others will be made available in future. Along with vouchers supplied by our sponsors, MA Mori and Mission Models, we are offering subscriptions to AFV Modeller as additional prizes.
All details of the competition can be found here:
