did you talk to your AMPS mates about our offer to attend one of your meetings and show you guys what the /16th rc tanks are about. I suspect that since you haven't come back to me about this that their answer was no thanks.
If that is the case I would appreciate an explanation as to why AMPS is not interested,then we will both know:-?

I haven't attended an AMPS meeting since your kind offer. So the answer is neither yes or no I just haven't got to a meeting. I will endeavour to get to the next one and I will raise your generous offer with the guys.

Thanks,I appreciate your offer to ask them sometime;if it turns out you don't think you will be able to make a meeting for a while,maybe you could let me have a contact I could write to.
In a nutshell,here is what we have in mind:
I would get together as many of our members as possible(and their tanks of course).We would give a talk on rc tanks which would include demonstrations of each vehicle.In addition to the Tamiya rc tanks,we have a number of other tanks which have been converted to full function rc.After that, we would set up some tanks for your members to have a try at operating them,as well as 'destroying' each other using the infa-red combat systems.
